Colourful workshop using found materials to make 3D flowers and decorative insects to take back to school. Children designed and cut the flowers and insects using recycled materials to include adhesive vinyl, scrap paper and twigs. Each group also contributed towards a making a flower to be 'planted' at Bugcycle in Beach House Park. The workshop focus was on the importance of insects, plants, recycling, and how we can all help with bigger issues relating to climate change. Students were asked to think about how they can encourage insects to open spaces and make use of waste materials.
