The E.Y.E project inspired our Eco-warriors for the start of the new year.

The children gained so much from the whole experience and all of the workshops we attended were wonderful. The kite-flying was a particular hit with our boys. I loved the ‘design a reflective accessory’ workshop – Mrs Green was truly excellent with all of the children. It was great to see that the event was not ‘dumbed-down’ in any way – high expectations reaped equal rewards.

Thank you for putting on this event. I really enjoyed it! My favourite project was food tasting! All the other projects were awesome as well

As a school we benefit from the E.Y.E Project newsletters which provide us with information on local events and funding. The children within our school's Eco committee have the opportunity to attend the annual Eco Summit, meeting and working with children from other schools and enjoy taking part in all the workshops. As Eco co-ordinator I have the opportunity to liaise with other schools and organisations during the E.Y.E Project's network meetings.

I’ve loved it. It was very enjoyable and interesting. All the activities were well planned. The whole experience taught me a lot about the environment.
Thanks for bringing the Eco Summit to us, we were really impressed and the pupils at school are still taking about it. Look forward to having it back next year. You did an amazing job organising it all!

EYE works hard to promote the values of the project. It has given me the opportunity to meet with the project manager to help me set up an eco-club. Being a member school of EYE means that we can work with other local schools networking, especially in regards the aforementioned eco-clubs. Subsidised costs for the Eco-summit will enable more of our disadvantaged students to attend.

I have learnt about the different materials that you can recycle and about how we need to help get the rubbish to stop going into landfills and the ocean
