Birds, bees, bugs and butterflies in the heart of Broadwater! 

Cortis Avenue Wildlife Garden

(Cortis Avenue, off Carnegie Road, Broadwater, Worthing, West Sussex)


Saturday JULY 4th        12noon – 4pm
In conjunction with Sussex Wildlife Trust - Wild About Worthing

Visit the wild meadow, edible hedgerows, heritage orchard, and wildlife ponds


          12 Noon      Garden opens for tours, talks and activities for all ages

          12.30 pm     Making a wildlife friendly garden – Cortis volunteers

          1.15pm        Bug hunt with Sussex Wildlife Trust

          2.15pm        Making a wildlife friendly garden – Cortis volunteers

          3.00pm        Bug hunt with Sussex Wildlife Trust

          4.00pm        Garden closes

Refreshments + Wildflower plants available

Please Note: Bus stop Northbrook College/ Broadwater Church

The nearest toilets are at Broadwater Green or Manor Sports Ground

Cortis Avenue Wildlife Garden is a voluntary organisation, licenced by Worthing Homes to manage the site.
