The next CPD session is on 'Brighton & Lewes Downs Biosphere' and will be held on 25th March at 4pm at Worthing High School.
- Learn about the Brighton & Lewes Downs UNESCO World Biosphere area (which extends west to Shoreham), and its aims and activities to bring people and nature closer together as a new international demonstration area for sustainable development - including a key focus on environmental education and engagement of young people.
Also coming soon: Waste and Wildlife: What do they have in common? which will be held on 22nd April 4.00-5.30 at Worthing High School.
- This workshop will be a practical and fun session, showing how we can weave together biodiversity, environmental protection and up-cycling. You will go away with ideas to inspire your children and help them become the next generation of green champions. This will in turn help them make decisions about the way we do things individually and collectively, both locally and globally. Thus improving the quality of life now but without damaging the planet for the future. There will be plenty of opportunity to “have a go” at some up-cycling activities! With some goodies to take back to school!
