Oak Grove College and Palatine School are opening their school grounds this Sunday 21 June.
An inspiring example of how special needs children have transformed their school grounds into a green oasis. Extensive and unusual planting, sculptures, herb garden, large courtyard, sculptures, mosaics, and vegetable growing area. Living willow, reclaimed woodland, camera obscura, outdoor performance and cooking areas.
Sunday 21 June (11am - 5pm). Combined admission with Palatine School Gardens £4.00, child free. Light refreshments.
This is a many roomed mature garden with varied planting. Constructed by teachers, volunteers and children with special needs, it never ceases to surprise visitors. Wildlife corner, large and small ponds, themed gardens and children's outdoor art features, along with rockeries, living willow, labyrinth, mosaics and interesting tree collection.
