Quotes from current member schools about the benefits of membership:
‘EYE works hard to promote the values of the project. It has given me the opportunity to meet with the project manager to help me set up an eco-club. Being a member school of EYE means that we can work with other local schools networking, especially in regards the aforementioned eco-clubs. Subsidised costs for the Eco-summit will enable more of our disadvantaged students to attend.’ Durrington High School Eco Rep
‘As a school we benefit from the E.Y.E Project newsletters which provide us with information on local events and funding. We have used this to secure additional funding which has supported Eco-based projects within our school such as the Ernest Cook Trust funding which will be used to support our Forest School through the purchase of outdoor clothes and plants.’ Thomas a Becket Eco Rep
‘The E.Y.E project inspired our Eco-warriors for the start of the new year.’ Bramber Primary Eco Rep
‘The E.Y.E Project provides a fantastic opportunity for staff and students to discuss investigate and promote environmental issues affecting both our local and wider environment.’ Worthing High School Eco Rep
‘The children within our school's Eco committee have the opportunity to attend the annual Eco Summit, meeting and working with children from other schools and enjoy taking part in all the workshops. As Eco co-ordinator I have the opportunity to liaise with other schools and organisations during the E.Y.E Project's network meeting and CPD sessions.’ Thomas a Becket Eco Rep
