On September 25th 2015, World Leaders committed to 17 Global Goals to achieve 3 extraordinary things in the next 15 years. End extreme poverty. Fight inequality & injustice. Fix climate change. The Global Goals for sustainable development could get these things done. In all countries. For all people. If the Goals are going to work, everyone needs to know about them. TELL EVERYONE.

The Global Goals website provides details on the targets set for each of the Global goals, along with quotes, facts, images and downloadable posters to show support of each Global goal.

Many of the targets within the 17 Global Goals are around environmental and sustainable issues. Some examples of these specific targets are: adoption of clean and environmentally sound technologies and industrial process; access to sustainable transports systems; access to green public spaces; sustainable management and efficient use of natural resources; reducing waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse; ensuring that people everywhere have the relevant information and awareness for sustainable development and lifestyles in harmony with nature; significantly reducing marine pollution of all kinds; protecting marine and coastal ecosystems; ensuring the conservation, restoration and sustainable use of terrestrial and inland freshwater ecosystems and their services, and so on...
