I’ve loved it. It was very enjoyable and interesting. All the activities were well planned. The whole experience taught me a lot about the environment.
The E.Y.E Project event at CHS today was just brilliant! The main speaker Ed was great, the workshops interesting/informative, good interactive stalls to look at also. And all from a visitor point of view, ran smoothly!! Thank you - my children left enthused & excited about all things ECO - message received & hopefully will be acted on more by them & their families.

As a school we benefit from the E.Y.E Project newsletters which provide us with information on local events and funding. The children within our school's Eco committee have the opportunity to attend the annual Eco Summit, meeting and working with children from other schools and enjoy taking part in all the workshops. As Eco co-ordinator I have the opportunity to liaise with other schools and organisations during the E.Y.E Project's network meetings.

The children gained so much from the whole experience and all of the workshops we attended were wonderful. The kite-flying was a particular hit with our boys. I loved the ‘design a reflective accessory’ workshop – Mrs Green was truly excellent with all of the children. It was great to see that the event was not ‘dumbed-down’ in any way – high expectations reaped equal rewards.

EYE works hard to promote the values of the project. It has given me the opportunity to meet with the project manager to help me set up an eco-club. Being a member school of EYE means that we can work with other local schools networking, especially in regards the aforementioned eco-clubs. Subsidised costs for the Eco-summit will enable more of our disadvantaged students to attend.
